looking for an WINE CONSULTANT . If you are a service driven

then we invite you to join our CREW! As a WINE CONSULTANT , you
will be responsible for the sales of our wine portfolio by
developing and executing brand programs. DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for the sales of wine portfolio by
developing and executing brand programs. 2. Identify new
prospective customers by reviewing market research and information.
3. Anticipate competition and market trends; translate consumer
attitudes into new opportunities. 4. Recommend product sales
improvement techniques to customers through merchandising,
displays, promotions, and advertising. 5. Develop and maintain
strong relationships with decision-makers through professionalism,
product knowledge, and excellent sales/service techniques. 6.
Coordinate and align strategy with overall budget and sales plan.
7. Execute launch of new brands within market territory. 8. Resolve
escalated customer complaints regarding products or service;
escalate customer issues to a supervisor or manager as needed. 9.
Comply with ABC and industry regulations, internal processes, and
supplier requirements. 10. Attend special events, conduct samplings
at retail, and inform customers and consumers about new and
existing products. 11. Place product orders and communicate with
Delivery Drivers and Merchandisers concerning any special
instructions, account issues, or displays. 12. Analyze, forecast,
and plan for account sales activity impacted by special events,
advertising, holidays, price promotions, weather, etc. 13. Achieve
monthly sales goals and maintain knowledge of performance using
tools and technology to stay abreast of current account sales. 14.
Stay abreast of industry and company information through
communication resources such as flyers, bulletin boards, reading
materials, sales meetings, Intranet, and route accounting systems.
15. Work in a safe manner using PPE, applying safe driving
techniques, and lifting properly at all times. 16. All other duties
and responsibilities as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Possess and display Coastal Beverage Company’s Core Values at all

Possess one-year certificate from college or technical school, six
months of similar or related experience; or equivalent combination
of education and experience. 3. Possess intermediate communication
skills including the ability to read and interpret documents such
as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Possess the ability to write routine reports and
correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers
or employees of organization. 4. Possess intermediate math skills
including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as
discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Possess the ability to apply concepts of
basic algebra and geometry. 5. Possess intermediate reasoning
skills including the ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations. 6. Possess basic
computer skills requiring knowledge of or capacity to learn
inventory software, route accounting software, Internet, e-mail,
and basic word processing or spreadsheet software. 7. Possess the
ability to maintain regular and punctual in-person attendance to
regularly support sales operations and service customer accounts.
8. Possess ability to obtain and maintain an active beer and wine
sales license. 9. Possess ability to drive, valid driver’s license,
and a driving record compliant with company standards. PHYSICAL
DEMANDS: Regularly/constantly (>66% of workday) Employee must
regularly/constantly talk, hear. Specific vision abilities required
by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral
vision, color vision, depth perception, eye-hand coordination,
acuity, and ability to adjust focus and color vision. Frequently
(34-66% of workday) Employees must frequently sit, finger and
pinch. Occasionally ( Employees must occasionally walk, stand,
climb, stoop, crouch, twist of trunk, lift up to forty-five pounds,
lift one-handed, reach below knee, reach knee to shoulder, handle,
