CPI has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician in CPI's New Bern, N.C. location.As a CPI Quality Assurance Technician, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world's digital technology. Day to day, you will, perform Quality Assurance duties such as parts inspection, receiving inspection, evaluation of returned material etc. Documents the result and activities in inspection records such as checklists, inspection logs, ERP, non-conformance material reports, etc. Completes process audits and maintains SPC programs. Participates in continuous improvement activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Inspects manufactured, purchased and returned parts against drawings and other specifications.Arranges first article inspections and other special inspections.Monitors and audits operator inspection logs, statistical process control records, check lists etc.Performs receiving inspection on a special event basis.Records inspection results in reports, logs, ERP, gage control software, supplier rejection forms etc.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Ethics, Values, Integrity & Trust - Adheres and acts in line with CPI core values.Functional/Technical Skills - Possesses high level of skill, knowledge and ability in assigned functional area.Safety - Complies with company safety rules and regulations.
