Job Description









As an Armed Security Officer - Corrections in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with individuals on site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires you to act with integrity and reliability, contributing to a positive environment through teamwork and a people-first approach. You will play a key role in supporting a secure atmosphere by remaining attentive and responsive to the needs of the location. Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $21.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSun05:45 AM - 06:00 PMResponsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for security-related incidents.Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related incidents according to established protocols.Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.Document observations and incidents in detailed reports as required by site policies.Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary during incidents at the location.Minimum Requirements:
North Carolina Armed Security Professional License is preferred.North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is required.An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Perks and Benefits:
