We are hiring for:Facility Registered Nurse / RN / $6,000 Sign on BonusType:RegularIf you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services!To provide professional care to service users, aimed at preventing disease and maintaining good health care.RHA is Looking for Registered Nurses to Join our Team!!!!!SIGN ON BONUS: $6,000Pay: $38.00Schedule: 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7amAs a nurse with RHA will have an opportunity to practice holistic nursing and to positively impact the lives of others by providing healthcare oversight and monitoring for the people we serve.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesObserve, assess, and evaluate the health needs or the people we supportProvide health related training to unlicensed personnelTeach the people we serve to monitor their health and provide medication administration training to the people we serve when appropriateAdminister medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administrationAssist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduledConduct medication closest assessmentsPerform quality assurance checks and observations to ensure unlicensed personnel are performing health related tasks as assignedCollect health related dataConduct nursing assessmentsObserve for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physicianCommunicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary TeamAdvocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supportedRequirementsGraduation from an accredited registered nurse programBSN preferred, but not requiredCurrent nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.Must be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their familiesMust be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasksCurrent CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification#HPNURSEWhy Should You Apply?Ability to help others and make a differenceAbility to join a team of dedicated caregivers, where you will be a valued member of a care team, enabling people RHA supports identify and achieve personal goals, experience, meaningful days, participated in the community, and live more independently.Physical requirements include: ability to regularly lift 20 pounds.
