HVAC Technician
Viejas is San Diego's premier 4-Diamond Casino & Resort and we want you to be a part of it! We are seeking someone experienced in troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of air and refrigeration equipment to join our Maintenance Team as a HVAC Technician. Job duties include:

• 
  
• Developing and implementing maintenance program for HVAC systems
  
• Repairing systems, components, fixtures and equipment
  
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faulty apparatus and replacing parts
  
• Testing HVAC and refrigeration equipment throughout the property
  
• Inspecting buildings, facilities, and equipment and conducting repairs.

Being detail oriented with superior time management skills and flexibility is a must. This position may require working a schedule including days, nights, graveyard, weekends and holidays according to business needs.
  The ideal candidate will have:
  
  • 
    
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program
    
  • 2 or more years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC
    
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
    
  • Ability to read blueprints, system diagrams, and schematics
    
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment

    Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Ability to use applicable software programs required for gathering field data and organizing data for submission to the Land Surveyor. Uses Computer Assisted Drafting software
      
    • Mathematical Skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
      
    • Knowledge of all positions on the crew and capability to utilize all equipment
