Job Description:
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical Training in MC2SA Systems Administration, MC2SA
Network Administration, or MC2SA Hardware Maintenance.
- Eight (8) or more years of direct experience supporting
MAGTF-C2 programs to include:
- Systems Requirements
- Operational Requirements
- Data Analysis
- Test and Evaluation
- Training
- Demonstrated expertise with TSOA, JTCW, and GCSS-TCO during
exercises, training events, and while forward deployed
- Demonstrated Training and Instruction experience in a
class-room and field environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide specialized knowledge and skill
of the operation, technical processes, and maintenance requirements
for TSOA, JTCW, and GCSS-TCO to include network connectivity,
administration and advanced operational techniques
- Demonstrated ability to provide system network support to TSOA,
JTCW, and GCSS configuration, site integration, site installation,
and operations and maintenance of Local and Wide Area Networks
(LAN/WAN)
- Demonstrated ability to provide system administration support
to TSOA, JTCW, and GCSS focusing on operational readiness
- Demonstrated ability to provide system operations support to
TSOA, JTCW, and GCSS as the primary system operator or while
providing over-the-shoulder support
- Demonstrated technical knowledge sufficient to conduct New
Equipment Training, Unit Training, and Classroom Instruction
ensuring operators, maintainers, and system administrators
understand how to use and support the TSOA, JTCW, and GCSS to
maximize operational capability and minimize system downtime
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience with COP and CST architecture
- Demonstrated ability to configure and integrate C2 systems in
support of Mission Essential Tasks (METs)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MEF CE SOPs and Best
Practices
- DoD 8570 Category IAT Level I Certified
- Working knowledge in the following:
- DGSIT Process
- TSOA, JTCW, GCSS-TCO, and related MAGTF C2 Systems
- COP and CST configuration
- Tactical and shipboard network architectures, transport layers,
and communications systems
- Marine Corps, Navy, and DOD Cyber Security policies and
procedures
- MEU TTP's
- Marine Corps method of providing POI's
- Demonstrated analytical, computer, leadership, and problem
solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide Level 1 Helpdesk Support

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDINGPRIMARY DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support to Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC)
Atlantic as the on-site C2 SMEs at Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF)
Command Elements (CE) and Major Subordinate Commands (MSC)
- Provides on-site Field Service Support, training and helpdesk
support which may include deployment to an active combat zone
and/or working non-traditional business hours to support Marine
Corps operations
- Utilizes specialized knowledge of the operation, technical
processes and maintenance requirements of MC2SA systems, networks,
and advanced operational techniques to ensure effective
exploitation of system capabilities
- Provides training support and services that include Task
Analysis, Functional Requirements, application/segment evaluations,
exercise support, software beta testing, systems refresher
training, and the review of joint training materials to enhance
classroom instruction
- Provides operational and technical support to the Assistant
Chief of Staff (AC/S) Operations Officer (G3), or the Information
Management Officer (IMO) as requested
- Provides fielding support in accordance with the Program
Fielding Plans
- Assists in the provision of over-the-shoulder, Remedial, New
Equipment, Unit Sustainment, and Classroom Training on system
network, system administration or system operation as
required
- Conducts emerging technology assessments based on research,
technical interchanges and other sources
- Responsible for maintenance of all assigned equipment to
include: spares management, preventative maintenance, field level
maintenance, and coordination with depot level maintenance
support
- Provides SME support to DGSIT evens ashore and afloat and
supports the DGSIT planning process
- Provides direct support to the integration of
software/hardware, burn-in testing, quality assurance and technical
support to operational forces deploying to active theaters
- Provides support for the implementation, integration, and
maintenance of GOTS and COTS hardware and software into C2
operations
- Performs COP administration and CST configuration, to include
reviewing, revising, and maintaining COP and CST
documentation
