Carolina GSE is recruiting experienced shipping & receiving candidates in the New Bern, NC area.

Key Job Duties:

Report directly to the Logistics Coordinator Inventory parts and equipment utilizing an iPad.
Receive packages and add them to inventory.
Package parts and prepare for shipments.
Perform basic inspections on newly received equipment.
Assist with inventory and stock records.
Build pallets and crates to prepare equipment for shipments with the use of hand tools and power saws.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Coordinate with the logistics team leader to manage packages and warehouses.
Operate a forklift.
Operate a pickup truck.
Manage company supplies and parts for shipping and service teams.
Assist with logistics and servicing teams to clean and organize warehouses.
Assist our internal teams with numerous day to day tasks and projects.
Partner with our sales and service teams to exceed customer's expectations.
Able to manage stressful situations with elegance and diplomacy.
Demonstrate confidence in a business setting.
Assist with the shipping of equipment throughout the world.
Ability to think of new ideas and service techniques to drive value to the customer and Carolina GSE.
Always thinking out of the box and eager to be helpful within a team environment.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and verbal communication.
6 to 12 months of recent lift truck experience recommended, but not required.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to work from verbal & written instructions. (computer listings, pull tickets & other documents) Be able to assist with lifting up to 50 lbs.
Forklift operator certificate recommended.
Able to tolerate periods of continuous sitting and standing.
Valid driver's license.
