Carteret Community College is accepting applications for a
part-time Nurse Aid I instructor. Hourly pay rate is based on
education, training, and teaching experience in this subject.
Classes will begin the end of May, scheduled for Fridays and
Saturdays, 8am - 2:30 p.m. This job posting will remain open until

The instructor will provide effective instruction and evaluate
the competency of each student through laboratory/skill practice
and clinical evaluations while performing basic Nurse Aide I skills
in compliance with appropriate state and national agencies. The
candidate will travel to clinical sites as needed and will maintain
all required academic, attendance, and student records. The
instructor will teach the mandated curriculums utilizing the
program guidelines and regulations and will perform all other
duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education & Experience: Must have a current unencumbered
North Carolina Registered Nurse license and have a minimum of one
year of nursing experience.
Preferred Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree from a
regionally accredited institution in a health-related field as well
as experience teaching adults and nurse aides are preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: The candidate must possess good general
computer skills; meet vaccination requirements of clinical sites
and be willing to commit to a teaching schedule of 12 hours per
week. Must possess a valid driver's license.
