A Day in the Life of an Insurance Rating
Marketing of accounts to carriers.
Research, analyze, and prepare quotes to meet client needs.
Enter clientele information into carriers rating systems to
gather information for client quotes while applying underwriting
and agency guidelines.
Communicates quote premiums, the status of quotes, or additional
information requested by carriers to Account Managers and/or Risk
Follow-up with carriers, Account Managers and/or Risk Advisors
on quote status for both prospective and current clients.
Deliver stellar customer service to both internally with respect
and integrity on a daily basis.
Build rapport with carriers, and colleagues.
Collaborate with Risk Advisors and Account Managers to provide

Exceptional knowledge of established guidelines and

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers and provide

Effective time management skills, patience, willingness to

Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
. North Carolina Property and Casualty License or the ability to
obtain within six months
1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
