Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Camp Lejeune - Jacksonville, NC Position Type Full Time Education Level Not Specified Travel Percentage Up to 25% Job Shift Day Job Category Government Curriculum Developer Primary Location: Camp Lejeune, NC, US Must be a U.S citizen Security Clearance:--Active Secret This position is contingent upon award ---- -- Job Summary The 2d Marine Division Survivable Conventional Force Requirements and Technical Analysis of Expeditionary and Combat Operations for Commanding General, 2d Marine Division (2d MarDiv) mission set is to provide technical research and analysis of force sustainment, training, and integration with other Service, Joint, Agency, and Coalition forces. The research and analysis also include the development of recommendations in order to enhance the survivability of the conventional force (2d MarDiv). The program conducts vulnerability identification, mitigation, and the subsequent increase to survivability of 2d MarDiv personnel and equipment. Additionally, this program supports the enhanced survivability of the warfighter. Key Accountabilities Designs and develops complex level interactive courseware for customer training. Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans. Converts complex level written materials and/or training requirements to interactive courseware. Develops flow diagrams and story boards. Designs instructionally sound complex level lessons in a variety of delivery media. Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content. Develops manuals, workbooks, and audio/video tapes and discs.-- Knowledge and Skills Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of military operations and organizations to include military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team. Possess self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively under a minimum level of supervision. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail. Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in supporting military operations. Experience and Education Bachelor---s degree in English, Communications, a related field or equivalent experience preferred. A minimum of eight years related instructional development experience. Formal training in computer applications/curriculum development/education. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Normal office environment including but not limited to: -- -- -- -- occasional field/tactical environments -- -- -- -- schedule: Monday --- Friday; core hours 0900 to 1700 occasional extended working hours-- -- -- Travel CONUS travel may be required for training and program coordination. May be required to travel OCONUS. Accordingly, a valid passport is required.
