Job Description:
Description East Coast Golf Management, Inc. (ECGM), is now
hiring for part-time Bartenders at our Sea Trail Golf Resort
managed location in Sunset Beach, NC! Employees of ECGM also enjoy

SUMMARY The Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving drinks
to owners and guests, as well as delivering exceptional food and
beverage services in accordance with current applicable federal,
state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with our
established policies and procedures ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participate
in a team environment that promotes sales and service success.
Actively participate in all restaurant-related meetings and
training sessions, and apply learned skills on the job. Be
receptive to feedback and coaching. Possess complete knowledge of
all food and beverage menus – including specials, ingredients,
preparation methods, and presentation. Possess knowledge of beer,
wine, and spirits. Possess complete knowledge and application of
all Hospitality Standards, including sanitation guidelines and
safety procedures. Balance excellent service between bar-top guests
and the service well, and fill orders with precision. Practice
proper cash-handling, and accurately record all sales of food and
beverages while working. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe
environment for all team members and guests. Perform opening and
closing procedures, while organizing and preparing for your shift.
Maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and
ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected
business. Properly store and rotate all products. Handle equipment,
appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools. Communicate
effectively with co-workers and managers. Assist in the training of
new employees. Help radiate positivity to ensure guest satisfaction
at all times. Welcome and greet all new and returning guests, using
the guest’s name whenever possible. Also provide a sincere farewell
to any guests leaving. Verify proper government-issued
identification of guests when alcohol is ordered as required by
state and federal law. Adhere to company, division, and location
policies and procedures. Attempt to limit problems and liability
related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as
persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other
transportation for intoxicated patrons. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education/Credentials Must meet minimum age for preparing and
serving alcoholic beverages. High School diploma or GED. Must have
TIPS and ServSafe Certifications, or be willing to obtain after
hire. Experience One year of bartending or related experience in a
full-service restaurant. One year of food and beverage experience.
