What are the duties and responsibilities of a merchandiser?

Merchandisers are responsible for getting the product to the shelf or display for the consumer to purchase. Depending on the assignment, that may include performing packing out of new products to the display, this is the most common, organizing the shelf, setting up displays, and setting up price and promotional signs. Completing audits of displays or products when required. Taking photos of completed jobs per all project instructions provided by the client to the field merchandiser.
