JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical group in eastern North
Carolina is seeking a Gastroenterologist PA/NP to join a satellite
practice location. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30-5:30. Candidate
requirements:
- Availability to take infrequent outpatient phone calls one
weekend per month
- Must be able to work independently (under indirect
supervision)
- Have at least one year of post-graduate experience as a
provider in a pulmonary, urgent, immediate, emergency, primary
care, or related setting
- Must have experience and knowledge of an EMR system, voice
dictation (Dragon) and strong documentation skills

HOSPITAL: Our private practice is multi-specialty,
located in Eastern, NC, with 12 offices located in and around the
area. We offer pulmonary CC, rheumatology, emergency medicine,
dermatology, oncology, family medicine, endocrinology, infectious
disease, internal medicine, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology,
gastroenterology and surgery. Our 100 providers and over 620
employees provide services for thousands of patients in a 29 county
region. Some of our doctors are on staff at a 900 + bed level one
trauma center and the primary teaching hospital for the local
