This Gastroenterology Locum Tenens position is located in South Carolina

Location: Near Myrtle Beach (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: May 2026 - Ongoing
Reason for coverage: Permanent search open
Schedule: 1 seven-day block per month
Shift: Mon, 7a Mon, 7a
Scope: 24-hour hospital call, Endo lab (half day block), answering consults as they arise, and covering 2-3 HALF days of clinic during that week stretch.
-Clinic is required so that Physician can follow the patients that they have seen in the hospital and/or has performed scheduled procedures on.
-Procedures include EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig (no EUS or ERCP)
Clinic: Hours: 8 a 11:20 a, 2-3 days per week, we can adjust appointment durations to their preference
1 PA, 1 MA in clinic
Clinic Volume: 3 patients/hour
ENDO: Hours: 8a 12p, 2-3 days per week, we can adjust appointment durations to their preference
1 RN, 1 CRNA, 1 tech
Volume: 8 cases her day
Inpatient/hospital:1 NP managing initial consults while doctor is in clinic/endo suite, M-F
Volume: low
EMR: Epic
Affiliated Hospital: No trauma, Community hospital supporting the clinic, 155 beds
Requirements (boards, license): Board certified with South Carolina license at time of application and DEA (that can stay in SC), CSR or willing to apply
