Hematology/Oncology Opening in Tarboro, NCGreenville NC 27mFull-timeExperience RequiredSeeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join an established practice located in Tarboro, North Carolina. Employed Monday-Friday schedule Shared regional call Outpatient clinical responsibilities focused on the following: Developing treatment plans for new diagnosis in hematology oncology patients Chemotherapy oversight Supervising nurse practitioner on follow up patients Leading tumor board System-wide integrated EMR - EPIC Established team of experienced nurses, navigators, and a nurse practitioner Largest provider of oncology services in eastern North Carolina. Additional Details Cancer Center located in nearby Greenville, NC with access to multidisciplinary oncology teams for diagnosing late stage cancers including support from disease focused medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and surgical oncologists. Close collaboration with the Multispecialty Clinic which offers a full range of healthcare services which include primary & preventive care, immediate care, specialty care, Lab, X-ray, Digital radiology and bone densitometry, IAC accredited ECHO lab, and AASM accredited sleep lab. Cancer center is accredited by the American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer and is designated as a Community Cancer Program and includes a healing garden, 8 infusion chairs, 2 private infusion areas, patient image renewal areas, and community outreach spaces. 117-bed acute care hospital located in Tarboro, North Carolina.
