Advanced Practice Provider in our Coastal Market
at our New Hanover Location to provide inpatient Vascular care and
selective medical services under the direction of physicians.

- Support inpatient vascular patients at our New Hanover location
within our costal market.
- Support physicians within the vascular service line,
responsible for patient rounding, ED consultations, patient
discharges, provide high level-quality care within our medical
facility.
- Supporting patients' needs at the bedside and performing less
invasive bedside procedures.
- Potential OR needs
- Supporting Locations: New Hanover, with probability of
supporting additional and future sites.
- No additional call required for APPs.
What We're Looking For
Education: Master's Degree or higher Required.
Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Adult
Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required. RNFA
required for NP applicants.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current NP
or PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC
Board Certification and current DEA registry Required. BLS and ACLS
certification required (training available). RNFA required for NP
applicants.
Experience: No prior experience required;
extensive on-the-job training provided. APP experience and surgical
background preferred, but not required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to
successfully complete generic and department-specific skills
validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management
team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills,
interpersonal skills and communication skills.
