Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts • Specialty: Urgent Care-NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: NC - Roanoke Rapids, Goldsboro, Wilson - Boone, Kinston, Wilmington, Sanford - Hickory, Garner, Fayetteville, Sanford - Greenville, Wilkesboro, Fuquay-Varina - Rockingham, Henderson, Roxboro - Concord, Harrisburg, Salibsbury, Charlotte • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Schedule: TBD • Patient Volume: - Ave. of 20 (Roanoke Rapids, Wilmington, Boone & Sanford) - Ave. of 30 (Kinston) - Other locations: Up to 40 • Patient Demographics: All ages; 6 months & up • Support Staff: Center Mgr, MA, PSA, Supervising Physician Offsite. • Duties/Required Skills: - Must be able to see & treat all patients as the sole provider in the Center. - Should have good soft skills as they will be one on one w/ support staff & each patient. • Procedures: I&D, Lac repair, Ear irrigation, other minor procedures. • EMR: Epic • Other Info: - Multiple locations needing support & ask candidates for support within a 65 mile radius cap surrounding their home residents. - Disclose level of proficiency with EPIC. - Epic (w/ modified training schedule) - Must go through EMR training & onboarding prior to 1st shift solo. • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered Requirements • Active NC License • BC • BLS • With at least 1 yr of experience • No travel needs/mileage only • DOT & PALS/ACLS (preferred)
