Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 to 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Sheath Removal experience - Accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care management, PICC line management - Cardiac drip titration experience (Diltiazem and Amiodarone) Description: The position involves caring for cardiac patients, monitoring their vital signs, and responding to emergencies. Responsibilities include administering medications, including cardiac drips, and managing blood products. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing patients post-cardiac procedures. The nurse will be required to float to other units as needed. This role requires a teamwork approach and adherence to policies. Weekends and holiday shifts will be part of the expected schedule. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
