Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Stroke Unit, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients recovering from stroke and other neurological conditions. This role is pivotal in implementing patient-focused interventions and contributing to the recovery and rehabilitation process. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications and treatments. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, utilizing computerized documentation systems. Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. Collaborate with a team of health care professionals to share expertise and knowledge. Do rounds and schedule follow-ups to ensure patient wellness post-discharge. Participate in the development and modification of care plans in conjunction with multidisciplinary team members. Skilled in neurological assessment techniques Proficiency in using medical software for patient care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred Certification in Neurological Care (CNRN) preferred
