Job Details - Location: Myrtle Beach, SC 29572 — Myrtle Beach nursing jobs / South Carolina travel nursing - Assignment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse, CVOR RN) - Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) — Cardiac OR nurse role - Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour days) - Duration: 13 weeks (March 9, 2026 – June 8, 2026) - Hours per Week: 40 - Patient Ratio: 1:1 - Team Structure: RN and 2 techs per room - Equipment: da Vinci Xi robot (DaVinci Robot XI) - Documentation: Meditech experience preferred - Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 Top Qualifications (Cardiac Surgery Nurse Requirements) - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state licensure required) - BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 1 year General OR experience and 1 year Cardiac OR/CVOR experience - Strong cardiac surgery skill set: CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, TEVAR, robotic lung procedures, VATS, thoracotomies - Experience with robotic-assisted surgery (da Vinci Xi) and complex cardiac cases preferred - Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking in high-acuity surgical settings Responsibilities — CVOR RN / Cardiac OR Travel Nurse - Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients in a 1:1 CVOR RN setting - Deliver pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative care for complex cardiac surgery cases - Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Assist and support robotic-assisted procedures using the da Vinci Xi robot and traditional cardiac surgery techniques - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Meditech and follow hospital documentation standards - Float to General OR as needed to support broader surgical services - Adhere to hospital policies, sterility standards, and patient safety protocols at all times Why Myrtle Beach & This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
