Job Description What We Offer Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor - Internal Medicine Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, affiliated with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in Wilmington, North Carolina, is recruiting for an outstanding full-time, non-tenured track faculty member to be part of our dynamic team. NH NHRMC Internal Medicine residency is part of an innovative learner- centered academic program supporting 23 residents. A successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a passion for education, interest in teaching in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates must be ABIM Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine, eligible for licensure in the state of NC and have an interest/experience in scholarly efforts (QI/LEAN or research). This individual will be responsible for the supervision of residents in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, typically 2/3:1/3 inpatient: outpatient. They will have a private half day clinic embedded within the resident clinic. Additional requirements include one weekend per four-week block, overnight phone coverage call 1 in 7, mentoring of both residents and medical students, teaching and core curriculum lectures. Demonstrate dedication to Residency education and be a role model of professionalism . Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
