Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Radiology / Cardiology – Ultrasound Tech (Vascular) Location: New Bern, NC – CarolinaEast Medical Center Shift: Evening, 14:30 – 23:00 | Rotating call every 4 weeks | Weekend shifts once every 4 weeks Job Type: Contract | 13-week assignment About the Role: CarolinaEast Medical Center is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team. You will perform high-quality vascular imaging and diagnostic procedures, supporting adult, ER, ICU, and portable patient populations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment, including Philips Epiq Elite x4 and Viasonix Falcon Pro x2. Key Responsibilities: - Perform vascular imaging: Aorta, arterial grafts, carotid, duplex, color flow, Doppler, upper/lower extremities, renal artery studies - Provide accurate documentation in Cerner - Assist in OR procedures such as Carotid Endarterectomies - Maintain patient care, isolation precautions, and safety standards - Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage Requirements: - Minimum 5 years vascular ultrasound experience; 10 years preferred - ARDMS, BLS, RVT required; CCI RVS* preferred - Experience with EPIC HR preferred - Flexibility to work in a fluid hospital environment - Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
