Gifted Healthcare is inviting applications for a PRN (as-needed) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) focused on Long-Term Care (LTC) in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Our dedicated LPNs play a pivotal role in providing superior care that impacts the lives of our patients daily in various LTC settings. Ideal candidates are compassionate, detail-oriented, and ready to work flexible schedules to support the dynamic needs of patient care. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Administer medications, maintain accurate health care records and reports Supervise nursing assistants and aides, providing guidance and oversight Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations Adapt to the needs of different patients in a variety of LTC settings Proven experience as an LPN In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LPN license valid in North Carolina CPR certified IV Certification preferred but not required
