Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Goldsboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Staffing Pool Duration: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 36.00 Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience required License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) required Must-Have: Nursing Diploma, or ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required Description: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Identify and meet personal learning needs; attend relevant education programs. Use patient education materials and assess readiness to learn. Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed. Collaborate with team to evaluate care and ensure continuity. Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs. Perform point-of-care testing and follow standards and policies. Organize and prioritize care; consult resources for complex issues. Set and achieve professional growth goals; support unit objectives. Communicate effectively and give feedback to coworkers. Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care. Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and support family advocacy. Plan care collaboratively, using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.
