Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring night shifts, Meditech experience, and a compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a 10-bed Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting - Patient ratios vary depending on stage of labor, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 - Direct patient care for obstetrical patients - 4x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Weekend shifts are required - No call responsibilities - Floating to other units may be required - Meditech EMR experience is required - Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, implementing provider orders, documentation, and communication with the care team - Must provide care in accordance with hospital policies and accreditation standards - Two professional references required for consideration - All RTO must be included at time of application to be honored /n /n Requirements/n - Active NC or compact state RN license required - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Current BLS and NRP certifications required - ACLS certification within the last 6 months required - CPI certification must be in hand prior to start - Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience required - Meditech charting experience required - Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-672152.
