Job Description OBGYN Physician Openings – Conway, SC10 miles from Myrtle Beach Position Details - Seeking a Women’s Health OBGYN to join a well-established, collaborative OB/GYN team - Balanced role with primarily outpatient practice and inpatient obstetrics - Strong APP and nursing support across clinic and labor & delivery - Standard clinic schedule: 36 patient-facing hours 4 hours protected admin time - Shared call rotation, typically 1:7 to 1:8 - Team structure includes multiple OBGYN physicians, a GYN APP, and CNMs - Dedicated nursing support - EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation and Ambient AI charting - Services and procedures include: - Prenatal care and deliveries (vaginal and cesarean) - Gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomy and laparoscopic procedures - Office-based procedures such as IUD placement and colposcopy - Well-woman care and complex gynecologic visits - Labor & Delivery environment: - Manages high-risk pregnancies up to 32 weeks gestation - Level II nursery onsite - L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C-section ORs all located on the same floor - Established transfer protocols for higher-level neonatal care when needed Benefits Details - $25,000 sign-on bonus - Competitive compensation with guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) plus wRVU bonuses - Comprehensive benefits package: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Supplemental coverage options (short/long-term disability, life, cancer, accident) - Retirement plans with employer match - Student loan repayment assistance through PSLF eligibility - CME allowance: 5 days and $3,000 annually, plus coverage for licenses and dues - Malpractice coverage provided - 24 days of PTO - Flexible scheduling with leadership focused on sustainability and physician wellbeing Community DetailsConway, South Carolina offers an outstanding quality of life with coastal access and family-friendly living: - Cost of living approximately 9% below the national average - Highly rated public and private schools and access to a Division I university - Mild climate with over 200 days of sunshine annually - Close proximity to Myrtle Beach and easy access to Charleston and Columbia - Abundant outdoor recreation including kayaking, fishing, hiking, and golf - Diverse dining and entertainment options in a growing coastal community
