Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,983 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13-26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty Travelers accepted for first-time assignments Skills in teamwork and patient safety Description: This is a Neuro unit. RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO could lead to a cancellation. Patient ratios are 1:6. Orientation consists of 24 hours of training. The unit focuses on general medicine with an emphasis on neuro care. Preferred experience includes NIH and neuro knowledge. Willingness to learn the charge nurse role is preferred. Travelers will be required to float to other units as needed. There is a weekend requirement of 5-6 shifts, equating to every other weekend. Travelers must adhere to fatigue policy, which prohibits working more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours in a week. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment. Teamwork is essential in interactions with patients and staff. Candidates must be comfortable floating based on job description requirements. Testing may be required prior to employment in this specialty.
