Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience:
Minimum of 2 years License: NC state license Certifications: BLS,
CCC-SLP Must-Have: - FEES - MBSImP Description: This position
involves working primarily in an outpatient setting. 75% of the
caseload will be pediatrics, while 25% will be adults. Candidates
must possess a current NC state license. BLS and CCC-SLP
certifications are required. Preferred qualifications include FEES
and MBSImP certifications. Candidates must be proficient in using
the EPIC charting system. Experience in adult outpatient and
pediatric outpatient therapy is essential. The role requires
knowledge of degenerative diseases, dysarthria, hearing
impairments, and laryngectomy considerations. Skills related to
tracheostomy, voice therapy, and alternative communication devices
are also necessary. Dysphagia management, including bedside swallow
evaluation and conducting fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of
swallow (FEES), is a critical component of this role. Effective
patient and family education strategies are essential. Knowledge of
ICD-10 coding, Medicaid, and Medicare documentation is necessary
for billing purposes. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess,
evaluate, and create plans of care for clients with various speech
