Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Wilson, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,942 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS/ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation skills Critical thinking skills Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Telemetry unit. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. The nurse will manage discharges and admissions. Basic knowledge of cardiac drips is preferred. Common diagnoses treated include CHF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetes, ARF, CKD, and post-cardiac catheterization care. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1. Our equipment includes Welch Allyn vital signs machines, Hoyer lifts, Abbott glucometers, and Baxter IV pumps. Familiarity with the electronic health record system is important. Candidates should possess strong teamwork and flexibility skills. This position requires an Associate degree, with a BSN preferred. The dress code is scrubs; specific colors are not assigned.
