Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Telemetry Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,969 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Cardiac Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401! Job Opportunity – Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Wilmington, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights: 13 to 26 week contract assignments available Specialized cardiac monitoring unit with advanced telemetry capabilities Work with complex cardiac patients including pre/post cardiac cath, cardiac surgery patients, and dysrhythmia management Patient ratios of 1:6-7 with comprehensive interdisciplinary support Epic EMR system with 24 hours of unit orientation provided Floating required as needed; flexibility to support multiple units based on patient census Requirements: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required Current North Carolina or Compact state RN license Active ACLS and BLS certifications required Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required Strong skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote cardiac monitoring Experience with pre/post cardiac cath procedures, cardiac surgery patients, and sheath removal Proficiency in cardiac drip titration (Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Dopamine) Competency in blood product administration, central line management, PICC line management, and accessing ports Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) First-time travelers are welcome to apply Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Epic charting system experience Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized cardiac unit where you'll expand your critical care skills while managing a diverse patient population with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, pacemaker/ICD implantations, and pre/post cardiac catheterization patients. The unit provides robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring comprehensive patient care. With a 43-bed cardiac unit and a collaborative team environment, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients experiencing complex cardiac conditions while working in a facility that values teamwork and professional excellence.
