Description: Labor and Delivery is a crucial component of women's
services. Nurses play an essential role in supporting patients and
their families during this significant time. This unit features 10
beds, with patient-to-nurse ratios that depend on the stage of
labor. Ratios can vary from 1:1 to 1:4. Holiday requests for time
off are accepted. Weekends are required although no call is
necessary. Travelers may be expected to float to units of similar
or lesser acuities if needed. It is essential to include any
requested time off upfront in your application. Any time off
presented after the candidate has been submitted will not be
approved. Education verification is required at the time of
submission, including proof of relevant degrees.
