Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN
with current NC or compact license and night shift availability for
a hospital-based position. Responsibilities - Work in a Labor &
Delivery unit within a Women's Services department - 10-bed unit
with nurse-to-patient ratios varying based on stage of labor, from
1:1 up to 1:4 - Night shifts required, working 4x12 hour shifts
from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am - Weekend and holiday shifts required as
part of the schedule - No call required - Candidate may be required
to float to units with similar or lower acuity - Meditech EMR
experience required - Provide care to mothers and newborns through
all stages of labor and delivery - Support patients and families in
a collaborative, team-oriented environment - Holiday RTO is
accepted if requested during application - All travelers must be
prepared to work assigned holidays - All candidates will be
interviewed by the unit manager Requirements - Active NC RN or
compact state license required - Current CPI certification required
- Minimum education verification required (high school diploma,
associate’s, or bachelor’s degree) - Two professional references
required for consideration - Candidates must live at least 50 miles
from the facility - Driver's license and Social Security card
required for consideration - Experience working in Labor & Delivery
