ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Schedule This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 3x12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, including weekends and holidays. Job Description Join our dynamic team on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit, where you will care for patients with a variety of conditions, including cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal troubles, general surgery, and orthopedics. As an RN, you will provide quality nursing care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs/US, and unit secretaries. Responsibilities Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions. Administer medications and IV infusions, required proficiency in insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips. Provide patient education and emotional support. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine effective care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license in the state of practice. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. CPI certification required. Must be comfortable floating to similar acuity units as needed. Experience managing various patient acuities within Med-Surg and Telemetry settings preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
