nursing job in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Job Description &

Med/Surg/Telemetry Schedule This is a 13-week contract position
with night shifts, working 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Weekend and holiday shifts are included, and there is no call
required. Job Description Join a dynamic team on a 42-bed Med-Surg
Telemetry unit that caters to a diverse patient population,
including those with cardiac issues, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal
conditions, general surgery, and orthopedics. As a Registered Nurse
in this unit, you will work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, PCTs,
CNA/US, and unit secretaries to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of
medical conditions. Manage medication administration, including
insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips. Monitor patient vitals and
provide timely interventions as needed. Assist with patient
assessments and care planning. Collaborate with team members to
ensure quality patient care. Float to similar acuity patients as
needed based on census. Required Experience / Certifications /
Licensure CPI certification required. ACLS and BLS certifications
required. Must be proficient in managing insulin, heparin, and
Lasik drips. No locals accepted; candidates must be from outside a
50-mile radius. Patient Ratio The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 to 6.
