Job Description GSD Search is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wilson, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN (7P-7A) • Role: RN • Specialty: ICU and IMU • Number of Openings: 6 • Shift: 7A or 7P • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36hrs • Weekend Hours: 12hrs (Every other or Every Third weekend) • Call Requirements: No • Required Certifications: BLS/ACLS • Years of Experience: 1.5 • Float Requirements: Yes • Number of Beds: 16 • Patient Ratios: ICU 2:1, IMU 3:1, Tele 1:5 • Equipment: Cardiac monitor, Hill-Rom Progressive Care series with bed scale, Abbott Glucometer, EndoTool, Bair Hugger, TR band, Hotline 3 fluid warmer, Baxter IV pumps, Bedside Dialysis capability • EHR: Meditech EMR • Must Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation, critical thinking skills, knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation) titration knowledge • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Teamwork • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: COPD, ARF, DKA, Sepsis, Shock • Personality Fit: Team oriented and flexible and adaptable • Scrub Color: Any • Any unacceptable attire: Artifical Nails • Required Education: Associate degree, BSN preferred • Additional Notes: Tele Overflow GSD Search Job ID 929260.
