License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Must-Have: Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience Team
player, engaged, positive attitude Description: Orientation is
bi-weekly. Facility has 294 beds. Joint Commission Accredited.
Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging,
surgical services, and more. Located 45 miles east of a major
nearby city. Two hours from the coast. One hour from major
universities. Fifteen-minute drive to a local lake. Home to a
historic stadium. Meditech experience preferred. Unit information
includes: Number of beds is 26. Patient ratios are 1:4-5, flexible
depending on acuity. Equipment includes GE Monitors and standard
emergency department equipment. Electronic health record system is
Meditech. Supervision is provided by designated personnel. Patient
population includes all age groups. Common diagnoses and treatments
encountered include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis,
and hypertension. The ideal candidate will possess a positive
attitude and work well within a team. Required education is an
Associate's Degree in Nursing. Dress code consists of scrubs; color
may vary. Unacceptable attire includes specific non-uniform
clothing.
