Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: NC or
Compact nursing license required Certifications: ACLS required
Must-Have: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience.
Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring experience.
Experience with pre/post cardiac catheterization, pre/post cardiac
surgery, and sheath removal. Accessing ports, blood product
administration, central line/care management, and PICC line
management skills. Ability to titrate cardiac drips such as
diltiazem and amiodarone. Post-cardiac catheterization experience.
Description: We are looking for registered nurses specializing in
cardiac medical telemetry. The position is for night shifts working
3x12-hour shifts per week. The role will involve monitoring cardiac
patients. Nurses will be responsible for administering cardiac
drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and others. You will perform
sheath pulls, manage TR bands, and utilize Femstop. A ratio of
1:6-7 is expected. You may be required to work every other weekend,
with a minimum of 5-6 shifts per contract. Contract staff may also
be called to work during catastrophic events or mass casualty
situations. Candidates should be prepared to float within the
hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed. All
applicants must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this
specialty. You will engage in self-scheduling. Flu vaccination is
required, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.
