Pay Information $1,939 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in medical surgical/orthopedic nursing preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Management of dysrhythmias Oxygen protocol management Non-invasive airway management Peripheral line care/management Isolation precautions and personal protective equipment Electronic charting experience Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a medical surgical setting specializing in orthopedics. The nurse will work 12-hour night shifts, averaging 36 hours per week for a duration of 26 weeks. Ratios will be 1:6-7 patients. Mandatory requirements include management of dysrhythmias and oxygen protocol management. Candidates must be proficient in non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, isolation precautions, and electronic charting. Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing drips, and central line care is preferred. Nurses will be required to work every other weekend and will be expected to participate in a storm and disaster response team. The ability to float to similar units is expected based on patient needs.
