Apply today for our Infection Preventionist opportunity.Job Summary And QualificationsThe Infection Preventionist promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration fo Infection Prevention policies, procedures, and programs. As part of the Infection Prevention team, the Infection Preventionist identifies, investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of healthcare associated infections among patients and personnel, and implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. The Infection Preventionist is also responsible for assisting with in-service programs related to infection prevention and control. Infection prevention also collaborates with Employee Health as needed.What qualifications you will need:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license in accordance with law and regulation
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Science, Public Health/Epidemiology or other healthcare related field
  • 1+ years of experience in clinical setting strongly preferred
  • 1+ years experience in Infection Prevention strongly preferred
  • BLS
