Cardiology Opportunity - New Bern, NC (Riverfront City near the North Carolina Coat, Ideal Climate and a bevy of Golf, Art and Recreation)CarolinaEast Physicians, the physician group for CarolinaEast Health System, is seeking a Cardiologist to join our thriving group in coastal NC. This dynamic, hospital owned multispecialty group consist of 100+ physicians and extenders with offices in four coastal NC counties. Our Cardiology Team currently has 13 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiac Thoracic & Vascular Surgeons in the group. Our well established, well respected group includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, as well as invasive and general Cardiologists. Job Summary: The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by: examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment, as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications, and recommending dietary and activity programs as indicated.     Minimum Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital. Board Certified or Board Eligible required.
