Job Description:

Medstaff is assisting with 24-hour weekend call coverage for an OBGYN group in Jacksonville NC.

Here are some details:

Requires Board Certification or new grad ready to sit for boards, NC license, DEA and some call and delivery experience

Will be working with a group that has 6 physicians and 6 midwives

24-hour call is needed for Saturdays and Sundays

Privileges are needed at the local hospital which is about 500 yards from the office

150 beds, Level 2 ICN, new surgical suite and ED

They average about 3 deliveries per day and usually 1 or 2 ER calls.

The midwife makes rounds and takes patient phone calls

20% C-sections

Davinci robot used by 3 of the physicians

Start is based on time for privileges and they are looking for a 3-month commitment, with possibility for extension
