Job Summary:
Develops, plans, coordinates and implements manufacturing
engineering projects consisting of complex features in order to
best support the plant and its' operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices and
manufacturing methods (machining, tooling, gaging) in broad areas
of assignments.
Applies techniques and theories, processes, and/or practices within
scope of assignment.
Applies knowledge that assist with the design and development of
fuel system components meeting customer requirements and
demonstrate compliance through rig and on-engine testing.
Can work independently, with some supervision.
Works closely with manufacturing personnel to resolve process
problems related to machinery testing and/or gaging. (Spends
approximately 60% of time on the shop floor.)
Schedules and assigns work to meet target date and checks progress
on a continual basis.
May be required to perform miscellaneous related duties as
assigned.
Qualifications:
Must display a high level of maturity and sound judgment.
Attention to detail and solid organization skills required
Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in Manufacturing environment
and/or related area.
Travel Requirements:
None
Physical Requirements:
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, infrequently lift
and/or move up to 50 pounds with aids.
Working Conditions:
Flexibility, shop environment and may work nights and weekends
based on business conditions.
