Ultrasound Tech Location: Wilmington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,287 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/29/2026 About the Position Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Maternal Fetal Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:45 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers License: NC or Compact license required by start date Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS Must-Have: Experience with high-risk obstetrics and outpatient GE; certified as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer Description: This role involves performing ultrasound scans on OB/GYN patients, including level 1 OB scans and GYN scans. Candidates must have expertise in general ultrasound skills such as abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen. OB/GYN skills required include knowledge of first, second, and third trimester assessments, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa. Neonatal skills needed involve evaluating bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, and heart. Renal/pelvis skills include bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, and vaginal assessments. Experience in small parts skills, such as breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid is necessary. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the facility or to affiliated locations as needed. No call or weekend requirements are included in this position. It is crucial for applicants to have strong competency in the described skill sets without restrictions or special requests. Travelers cannot work more than five days in a row or exceed 60 hours in a week. Candidates must adhere to all safety and operational protocols during their assignment.
