This is a highly visible client-facing role where you’ll manage scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring technical excellence across your team’s deliverables. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between clients, permitting agencies, and internal stakeholders—guiding teams, mentoring staff, and delivering outcomes that exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities - Lead civil engineering land development projects through all phases: planning, design, permitting, and construction support Develop and manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, and staffing plans Oversee technical deliverables and ensure quality, accuracy, and code compliance Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and permitting authorities Lead internal team meetings and mentor junior engineers and CAD staff Perform and review calculations, reports, and plan sets Guide QA/QC processes and maintain technical standards Support proposal development and assist with business development as needed Qualifications - 6–10 years of civil engineering experience focused on land development PE license required Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field Demonstrated experience managing site development projects and project teams Proficiency in Civil 3D and relevant design software Strong knowledge of local codes, stormwater/drainage design, and utility systems Proven ability to manage clients, deadlines, and project financials Interested in hearing more?
